How does OneWord work?

OneWord helps you learn a new language one word at a time. Each day, you receive new vocabulary words personalized to your proficiency level. You discover each word through a guessing game and reinforce your learning with daily challenges.

How is my level assessed?

During onboarding, you'll have a short 5-message conversation in your target language with our AI. Based on your responses, we assign a proficiency score from 1-100, which determines the difficulty of your vocabulary words.

What does Premium include?

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings: Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions > OneWord. Your premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

How do I restore my subscription?

If you reinstall the app or switch devices, go to the Premium screen and tap "Restore Purchases" to restore your active subscription.

My words aren't loading

Word generation requires an internet connection. Make sure you're connected to the internet and try pulling down to refresh on the home screen. If the problem persists, try restarting the app.
