1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the OneWord mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

OneWord is a language learning application that helps users learn a new language one word at a time. The App uses AI-powered technology to generate personalized vocabulary, assess language proficiency through conversational chat, and provide daily word challenges. Words are delivered on a scheduled basis with adaptive difficulty based on your progress.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account & Authentication

The App uses anonymous authentication. No personal login credentials are required. Your account is tied to your device. If you uninstall the App or change devices, your learning progress and subscription status may be lost. You can restore your subscription through the App Store.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

• OneWord offers a free tier (1 word per day, 1 daily challenge) and a Premium subscription (3 words per day delivered every 8 hours, 3 daily challenges).
• Premium is available as a weekly or monthly auto-renewing subscription.
• All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings at any time.
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Abuse or exploit the service in any way
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent subscription or payment systems

7. Intellectual Property

The App, its content, design, and underlying technology are the property of OneWord and are protected by intellectual property laws. Generated vocabulary content is provided for your personal learning use only.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Word generation depends on third-party AI infrastructure and may occasionally be unavailable.

9. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data or learning progress.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
